Who we work with

For business owners who want the finance work taken care of, clearer numbers and more time to run their business.

Let’s talk

Different businesses. Familiar pressures.

We support UK businesses with bookkeeping, payroll, reporting and the day-to-day finance routine. The right fit depends on the work you need help with, your systems and the responsibilities you want to hand over. These are examples of the kinds of business we can support.

  • Consultants and freelancers who want their records organised, bank reconciled and figures ready for their accountant.
  • Builders and trades businesses keeping track of merchant accounts, supplier bills, job costs and expected customer payments.
  • Agencies and service businesses that need a clearer connection between the work delivered, costs and customer invoices.
  • Online shops and marketplace sellers reconciling sales, refunds, fees and payouts across their channels.
  • Growing businesses with a team to pay, more accounts to manage and a need for reliable monthly reporting.

A good fit starts with a clear handover.

You might be doing the books in the evenings, chasing missing information or waiting too long for useful figures. You may already have an accountant and need someone to keep the ongoing work moving between reporting deadlines.

We agree who supplies the records, who checks the work and who approves payments, filings and decisions. You provide the business information and access we need; we keep the agreed work organised and make unresolved questions visible. Your existing accountant and team can stay involved.

One task or a wider finance function.

Start with a defined responsibility, such as monthly bookkeeping or payroll, or bring the recurring work together with management reporting and an agreed cash view. If older records need attention first, we assess that separately from ongoing support.

The scope and fee depend on volumes, systems, reporting needs and the condition of the records. Specific filings, tax work and specialist advice must be expressly included in the agreed scope. You know what is covered before the work starts.

Our anonymised ecommerce reconstruction case study shows how marketplace reports, bank records, the ledger and stock records were brought together, with differences and supported corrections documented. It is one example of a specific piece of work; your own starting point and scope may be different.
